How it all fits with EJP

On my mind this morning – sharing the family tree of EJPitman.com and Sprouts. If you need to make a sketch to make sense of this next bit, please share it with me. I’ve been scratching out how this all fits together for a couple years and it looks a little different each time.

EJPitman is a dba (doing business as) company that is centered around me – coaching, writing, and speaking. This is a boutique-y company space where I can offer customized coaching and enjoy the space of learning and leaning into who I am.

EJPitman is part of Concord Leadership Group. Concord Leadership Group is the business that began as FundraisingCoach, and grew up into CLG when we moved to South Carolina, expanding the focus of our work from nonprofits to corporate leaders. We observed that our passion and gifts is working with leaders, no matter where they are leading. The mission of CLG “CLG empowers and equips people for radical whole-person leadership”. CLG includes Marc’s writing, speaking, training, and coaching, EJPitman services, Nonprofit Academy, AND Quadrant 3 Leadership Coaching Certification. (We have certified over 40 coaches and our 2025 programs are on the calendar already accepting applications.)

Are you with me so far? How are we doing? A little carsick? I can slow down.

While Marc and I are well beyond our child-having years, it seems that our intellectual fertility has not run out. This year, we have birthed another company – Sidecar Advisors, LLC.

This company was created for the specific initial purpose of creating and overseeing Exactly What To Say Coaching (EWTS Coaching). EWTS is a brand of our good friend Phil M. Jones. While Phil has great regard for coaching, he is not at all interested in offering this service. Yet he is constantly asked if he does.
Marc was invited to consider building a licensed coaching program to serve the folks who are looking for coaching that is aligned with Phil’s material AND is pure coaching (as is defined by ICF and other such organizations).

That is what we are doing this fall. I am not only deep in the trenches learning and strategizing for CLG. I am learning software and building out plans for EWTS Coaching. I am writing manuals and building scaffolding that will support our coaches and the coaching clients at EWTS Coaching.

In the midst of all this, I’m finding that I need to carefully set plans for taking care of myself (so much like early motherhood). And sometimes that will mean “skipping” a week of Sprouts. Maybe it will mean sometimes sending out more than one?

So I wanted to give you a heads up about a season of erratic Sprouts behavior. And to invite you to celebrate with us the birth of our newest company and adventure.
