I’m Emily Pitman.
I coach people who are standing at the threshold of something they haven’t done before — a new creative life, a professional reinvention, a season of change they didn’t plan for, or the quiet, persistent sense that there is more.
My deepest belief is that you already carry what you need for the journey ahead. My job is to journey with you as you discover and learn to live from that place.
My Philosophy
I believe every person carries within them a place that is entirely their own — a home. Not a location, but a way of being. A voice. A passion. A calling. A sense of play that life has sometimes quieted under expectation, responsibility, and the pressure to be practical.
Home, in my practice, is where you stop performing and start being. Where the old scripts get set down long enough for you to hear what’s actually true. Where curiosity replaces fear, and your own voice — the one that knows who you are and where you’re headed — gets a little clearer each week.
And that voice already knows your way home.
My Story
I’ve been coaching for 5 years, working with individuals in transition, creatives taking risks on their own voice, and leaders who suspect there’s a version of leadership that looks more like them.
I also coach and train leaders through Concord Leadership Group, where I serve as COO.
Before coaching, I spent two decades doing something that shaped everything about how I work: I homeschooled my three children. With a commitment to their educational journey AND to honoring their unique curiosities, questions, strengths, and personalities, we learned together. In retrospect, I believe we took turns in the role of “teacher” as this adventure has been my greatest source of learning and delight.
In making open space for their questions, I found that I wasn’t done learning or growing up. I learned that curiosity is one of the most powerful forces a human being possesses. I believe that no matter where we find ourselves in our educational journey, that learning and dicovery continues.
That belief lives at the heart of every coaching conversation I hold.

You are Welcome
If something in this resonates — if you recognize yourself in any of it — I’d love to have a conversation.
The first step is always just that. A conversation.
