Q3LC Cohort 9
On Monday of this week, we celebrated the completion of Cohort 9 in Quadrant 3 Leadership Coach Certification. This crew took the double-time course, completing ten full weeks in just the five of July. Graduates of Cohort 9 span the US east coast to west coast, from southern states to northern. These amazing individuals continued with their own amazing (FULL TIME) work and took on over twelve hours of in person classes, assigned work in between classes, and practicing what they are learning.
Quadrant 3 Leadership Coaching is based on the Leadership Model found in Marc’s book The Surprising Gift of Doubt. We pair the model with all of our practical learning and experience from the last twenty years, and the insights of the folks accepted to the program.
When Marc submitted the course for credentialing to the International Coach Federation, they found the course worthy of 36 coaching education credits (did you know that coaches like any other professional have to keep up with their continuing education).
In Q3LC, we cover models of personal hardwiring, the role of story with our clients, whole person goal-setting, personal mission and values, practical organization, and beginning to market what you offer to the people you would love to work with. The course can’t help but invite personal work even as we focus on how we will use each tool with our clients.
I love leading and supporting in learning settings. The space of teaching, empowering, and exploring with a small group of people has been my happy place since I was in high school. Much like my homeschool journey, this is the kind of place where I grow and learn most naturally.
Marc and I have been crafting our life since we got married for this season of leading with each other. Many days it feels like a honeymoon that we get to finally do the work and be leaders together in this way.
It has been an honor to journey alongside these wonderful leaders. They will continue to use the work we have begun in their work in health, fundraising, real estate, systems, and coaching. My life and perspective are richer from the conversations we’ve had, and I feel a much stronger ME because they’ve let me share myself with them.
My hope for Cohort 9 (and the whole community of Q3LC) is that we will find each other in a city or an airport when I’ll be able cling mugs or glasses, or even swap a hug. With certainty I can tell you the world has some beautiful, amazing leaders and for this I am so glad.
Q3LC Cohort 10 (10!!!) will begin September 26. Applications for the ten week course are now open. It would be so fun to have you join us.
