A Few of My Favorite Questions

My patron saint of questions (and fashion) Ms. Frizzle says “If you keep asking questions, you’ll keep getting answers.”

I think if I were to make a list of questions, I would have a hard time finding the end of it. I am very in touch with my 3 year old self’s curiosity (but, why…) in that way. But for today, here are some of my favorites.

  • What is here now?
  • What if…?
  • How do I want it to be?
  • How do I fit into this picture?
  • How do I want to fit?
  • What are the possibilities?
  • What do I need to “let be”?
  • What is it to be grateful?
  • How can I pamper myself today?
  • Who can I make smile today?
  • What’s next? Who am I becoming?
  • What does my 8yo self need right now?

What about You? What are your favorite questions?

    Add Some Color

I finished this ‘miniquilt’ for our dry sink last night. It took me about three weeksto get it done. I used a fabric panel that had a rainbow wave of colors, a quarter circle cutting tool to practice making circles with, and did some free quilting to mimic water-stains in the circles. For the batting,…

    Less, Not More

I think most people assume more when they hear the word goals. More productive.More connection.More wealth.More health. And I think that’s partly why I label myself a goal skeptic. I’m not going to complain if more comes into my life. But striving for those things — more hustle (the other word I associate with goals)…

    About Books

In 2020, I renewed my commitment to read. What else was I going to do that year? I hit a goal of 100 by reading eight children’s story books in the last days of the year. Some people don’t count children’s picture books when they count how many books have they read – but I…
