Life is Spilling all over the Place

Even with my commitment to take a break from travel, looking back over the last few months I can see that I have had not problem filling my time with other things.

Some quick updates from this summer:

EJPitman.com is undergoing some updating. I am working to clarify who I really love to coach, and updating the websites language and style. As any cobbler or seamstress knows, it is their own shoes that always come last on the priority list, so this is still a work in progress. (I’m the tech and design team.)

ACC renewal from the International Coaching Federation – I completed ten hours with a mentor coach and all the required educational elements (including an in depth ethics course) that are required for renewal every three years. Last week, I was informed last week that my renewal is approved.

Our podcast Still Figuring It Out Season 4 is completed. Season 5 is on the calendar and in the planning stages. Our first goal as podcasters was to make and share 100 messy episodes. We are over half way there, with over 1000 downloads!

We hosted a successful and very fun first annual Nonprofit Academy Summer Camp. We offered six trainings and had a virtual campfire for campers and counselors (trainers) to get to know each other. We even had one camper join us from Netherlands!

Three Conversations Mastermind Webinar – as we build up to our fifth anniversary offering of Quadrant 3 Leadership Coaching Certification this September, we are offering a taste of our leadership perspectives and delivery style at a free webinar on August 26. I am discovering that I really like designing and implementing this kind of project. (If you are interested in the 3 Conversations webinar, feel free to sign up to join us here.)

And yes, you read that right. For five years we have been sharing the framework of Quadrant  Leadership through our Q3LC Certification Program. This Fall’s cohort begins on September 16 and for the first time our first time participants will have alum in the room who will both be learning and sharing from how they have implemented the framework in their lives and workplaces.

August seems to have gifted me a new clarity and energy for some of the daily habits that support my ‘bigger picture’. I wonder if this comes from years of back to school focus and energy or if it is simply a gift that I can be thankful for.

Next week, I will write about a new adventure that I’ve begun that had me feeling like a kid in a new school on the first day.

Have a great weekend.
