This week I would like to take the opportunity to share what I’ve been writing over on the Concord Leadership Group Blog. One of my first loves was (is) writing, and I’m so glad that I get to contribute words in multiple places as part of my daily work. 

You all get to know the Sprouts side of Emily. But there is more to us than just one side, isn’t there?

I just did some looking back at my writing history. I began blogging at hopecaptive.com (no longer published) in 2006! That’s 20 years. I was active on hopecaptive till 2018. And Sprouts as a newsletter began in 2023, but has lived on the blog page (Words) at ejpitman starting in 2022. 

Honestly, I often think that I don’t do much as a writer. I guess that’s because I give writing my focuses in smaller chunks of time here and there. But to see the years I’ve been at this, well, it feels pretty good. 

What are the things you just do – that are actually pretty cool when you look back at all the time and work you’ve put into it. I’d love to know.
